What is Red Door Opportunities?

Red Door Opportunities is a local non profit organization dedicated to opening the doors of opportunity to youth and seniors in the greater Sacramento Valley through arts, sports and youth programs.

Red Door Meaning In China, it's tradition to paint the front door red before the New Year, to invite good luck and happiness.

This non profit was started to provide a ‘new year’ to children and fill it with luck and happiness.

Red Door supporters are volunteers changing the greater Sacramento Valley through service to children. Red Door members help the mental and physical well being of youth by providing access to art and sports programs.
They develop youth as leaders, build self esteem, and enrich lives and much more.
No child is too rich or too poor. Why? Because we feel that every child deserves access to extra curricular activities. Working together, members and the community can achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone. When you open the door of opportunity to a child they can thrive, grow, and give back!

Each year Red Door sponsors:
6 scouts
4 elementary schools Club Scrap programs
1 soccer teams
1 football team
1 swim team
4 preschool outings
4 band students

How you can help:
Donate gently used school uniforms
Donate unused craft supplies
Purchase new uniforms to be delivered to children in need
Volunteer time sorting and cleaning uniforms
Donate cash to sponsor youth art and sports programs
